The St. James Parish School Board (SJPSB) is seeking an exceptional leader to serve as its Superintendent of Schools. Located between Baton Rouge and New Orleans and split by the Mississippi River, the SJPSB serves a diverse population of 3,400 students in 6 schools and 3 programs with 525 employees. It has an annual operating budget of approximately $56,000,000.


 Qualifications: Each applicant must meet or  exceed as of the date of application the qualifications for superintendent listed in Bulletin 746 Louisiana Standards for State Certification of School Personnel.

 Deadline for Applications: All applications must be post-marked on or before December 31, 2022. Applications post-marked after that date will not be considered.

 Salary: The salary for this position is negotiable based on the experience of the applicant. The estimated salary range is $130,000 - $160,000 per year.
