SJH and LHS JROTC Programs were honored last night for their District Cleanup Initiative that took place on Saturday, August 24, 2019. There were over 100 students in attendance, along with other community leaders and residents.  There were more than 100 bags of garbage collected. The highlight of it all was the teamwork demonstrated by all the students to help keep St. James Beautiful.

Colonel Linda M. Colar accepted the award on behalf of both battalions. She expressed her gratitude to everyone that attended as well as all of the sponsors.  Other JROTC instructors involved (Col. Peoples, 1st SG. Alsobrook, SFC. Kennedy) were acknowledged for their diligence and hard work.  Col. Colar challenges everyone to bring a friend to the next event on the Westbank.  The date will be announce soon.
